Francesca Lee Photo

The business

Francesa, the founder of Francesca Lee Photo, is a New York City photographer who loves helping document the times in people’s lives when they feel most alive and in line with who they really are. 

The mission

Unlike her competitors, Francesca co-creates her images with her clients to bring to light each client’s unique confidence. She aims to put each person and couple she works with at ease so they can enjoy each and every moment. 

The promise

When you work with Francesca, her goal is to create photography as modern and energetic as New York. Each client walks away with moments that they can relive and showcase how amazing they are. 

How we brought the brand to life

Francesca has a modern, edgy, and trendy style, so we wanted to create a brand that highlighted that. We chose a color palette that was contemporary and had vibrant colors that would stand out, as well as neutral colors to balance everything out. 

For her logo, we went with a modern serif font that had a feminine feel, evoking that sense of a ‘Vogue’ moment. We paired this with a traditional italic font to remind clients that this is an established business. 

When it came to her icon, we used a shape that resembles a polaroid to imply the candid nature of her work.

A Lost Epic

The business 

Leah Peticolas at A Lost Epic is a videographer focused on preserving those one-of-a-kind moments in a beautiful and meaningful way. (Fun fact: Leah even hid her name in her business name! How fun is that?)

The mission 

A Lost Epic is more than just a wedding videographer. Leah strives to capture the authentic joy and your unique love while staying present in the moment – so you can cherish it forever. With heartfelt sentimentality and an eye for timeless memories, she ensures each story is treated with respect that will last a lifetime.

The promise 

Life might be messy, but it’s beautiful in its own way. A Lost Epic is here to help you capture all the moments, big and small. Leah is there to provide just enough direction and intentional film flow, combined with some good-natured humor along the way!

A Lost Epic’s goal is to create a capsule of the moments in between that forge unfading love.

How we brought the brand to life 

Leah has a light hearted and wistful brand vibe. Think romance, nostalgia, and the imperfect moments that make memories.  We chose colors to incorporate that are natural but more subtle and hard to find earth colors. The color palette leans into vibrant, ethereal colors. 

We used blue to imply trust and flow and purple to invoke a feeling of luxe. These powerful colors were grounded with a black and mauve color in an effort to keep them balanced and feel caring. 

For the logos, we used modern and classic sans serif fonts that have their own edge with customized letters. We had the letters intertwine to imply the connection and synchronicities found in love. 

The icon design is two-fold. First, we used it to emulate the light being captured. Second, we used overlapping circles to represent two lives and two stories joining and continuing on their journey together. 

Amanda Barkley Floral

The business

Amanda Barkley Floral is a floral design and event company in Texas that is dedicated to curating memorable experiences with bright but exquisite designs. 

The mission

Amanda’s ethos is simple, to work in harmony with nature and harness the beauty of its materials. Every composition created is unique and made specifically for each client. This ensures that true emotions can be felt through the artistry. That said, you can guarantee that bright and vibrant colors will abound – which her clients always appreciate. 

The promise 

The promise at Amanda Barkley Floral is simple; exquisite designs with quality craftsmanship.

They use only the best florals and design materials that are available to us as they curate each event. When it comes to design, they are constantly updating and evolving their style and materials to give each and every client a fresh and unique look. All of this is combined with their devotion to delivering an exceptional experience for each and every client. 

How we brought the brand to life 

Regarding Amanda’s visual brand, we wanted to focus on bright and energetic colors that are full of life. We aimed to create an uplifting and cheerful feeling that is energizing while still being fun-loving. 

Her color palette is filled with bright and vibrant colors that are reminiscent of the unique colors you see throughout florals in nature. When it came to her website, we balanced these colors with lots of white and negative space to ensure it wasn’t overwhelming. 

For her logos, it was modern Parisian – classic and elegant ligature serifs meet the most fantastic bright garden party in the spring.

Wild Hare Films

The business

Wild Hare Films, based in Washington, is a videography business coming to create non-traditional and artistic films for couples and brands. 

The mission 

At Wild Hare Films, they understand that true love is endless, and they work to embrace the carefree nature of your relationship. Your wedding is about you, and they work with you to curate an experience that truly reflects you and your partner and your incredible story. They are committed to showcasing your love in the best and most pure way possible regardless of who you are or who you love.

Wild Hare Films fully embraces you regardless of what kind of love story they are crafting for you. They firmly believe that acceptance makes way for curiosity and new discoveries. This is what being a better person and finding true connections is all about, and they are committed to capturing that for everyone. 

How we brought the brand to life 

Wild Hare Films has an adventurous and sensual vibe to their brand. Their brand personality is reminiscent of fall, and we chose earthy, rich colors with a few muted shades to match this vibe and create a sense of passion without being too overwhelming. 

For the mark suite, we used a bold, serif font that makes the company’s name stand out and easy to read. To bring in a bit of the adventure vibe, we used an arch shape for the text, as you will find on patches and trail markers. 

Finally, we included a wild hare illustration throughout some of the logos. The crouched position the hare is in alludes to adventure, movement, and untamed nature, all of which Wild Hare Films aim to bring out in their videos.
