We’re thrilled to share the brand and WordPress website we crafted for Amanda Saunders, founder and certified somatic breathwork practitioner + yoga teacher in Vancouver Washington.
With 20+ years of experience in massage therapy, movement healing, and mind-body connection, Amanda needed a brand and website that captured the essence of her work and depth of her expertise. She chose to book the brand + website design package with us.
Drawing from the Caregiver archetype, we infused Somana Release with empathy, warmth, and the Innocent’s optimistic spirit. We wanted to bring in the idea of the whole earth, whole universe, whole human – so we brought in a touch of the astrological (you can see the moon cycles in the icon) coming from the plant- an abstratc protea flower. The colors also bring in this and hold deep jewel tones for the intensity of the work she does to heal and help foster growth. I especially love the little animation added throughout the site to the different words for movement to literally be brought in. Her new web presence radiates hope, growth, and trust, reflecting the supportive environment Somana Release offers.
The Name:
Drawing from the idea of “Somatic” and “Mana,” the name “Somana” represents the integration of body healing and spiritual life force energy. This, paired with a design inspired by Amanda’s compassionate care and our human connnection with the universe, brings her practice to life online.
