Your services page is a crucial page on your site when it comes to connecting with and converting clients. You not only want to ensure that it stands out, but also provide all the key information someone would need to know before reaching out to you.
As a brand and web designer, I not only know firsthand how important it is to have a great service page, but I’ve also had the opportunity to work with a variety of different businesses with different styles, helping to bring their content to life.
So, if you are looking to create a website that works for you and converts, here are some key elements you need to include, along with some service page examples to show you just how creative you can be!
How to Design Your Service Page
Think About the Information You Want to Include
The goal of any website is to convert visitors into paying clients. While your entire site needs to work together to achieve that goal, your service page really is the selling point for you.
This means that this is the one page where you really want to focus on providing clear and concise information and answering most questions that people may have when it comes to working with you.
What this looks like exactly is going to depend on you and your business, but it can include:

Want to be seen in your best light?
Get The Works—my email list that acts as a ring light for your brand.
Let’s turn the spotlight on you.
- A breakdown of all of your different packages/offerings
- What is included, or at least a high-level overview
- Process- unless you have a different page for this exclusively
- Steps to book your services and multiple calls to action
- If applicable: empathy pieces for your client connection and/or objections answered (if not this, then typically samples of the work/visuals of the product)
- Pricing – exact pricing for each package or a starting price
- Testimonials to show social proof from past clients you have worked with
- Frequently asked questions and answers
While you don’t want to overwhelm people, you also want to make sure they have enough information to make the decision on next steps, and whether you may be the right fit for them.
Use Your Branding
In general, this is most likely going to be one of the more information-heavy pages on your website. But that doesn’t mean that it has to be boring. You want to still lean into your branding, use different fonts, colors, and brand elements, and make the page just as visually engaging as the rest of the website.
This will not only help guide users through your page more effectively, but it will also create a consistent experience throughout your entire website.
Your client experience starts with their very first touchpoint, and you want to ensure that wherever they interact with you —whether it’s your Instagram, portfolio, or services pages —they have the same great experience.
Break Your Content Up
One of the most important things to keep in mind with your service page design is to break your content up. The last thing you want is for people to be staring at a wall of text on your website.
Here are a few ways you can separate everything to ensure it is not overwhelming:
- Use larger headings, different colors, lines, etc (whatever is consistent with your brand) to call out important information on the page
- Add interactive elements, like clickable views, to avoid having too much content showing all at once
- Add images throughout to break up the text
Include Buttons Everywhere
The goal of your services page is to get people to reach out and get in touch with you. This means you want to make it very easy for people to do just that. So, you want to ensure that you include buttons throughout your service page.
After every single package, there should be an option to reach out. Once you have broken down your process, there should be a button to reach out. Every call to action on the page should prompt users to visit the contact page. On this note, don’t send them elsewhere unless it’s after the package overview. For example, don’t tell them to snag a freebie in the middle of the page, as we want them to take a singular action step.
You want to make it as easy as possible for someone to get in touch as soon as they are ready, so you don’t want to go more than a few canvases without a way for someone to do just that.
Service Page Examples in Different Industries
Now that you know some of the key elements for your page, let’s look at some different service page examples and how you can bring the page to life.
Cornerstone Financial Planning
Cornerstone Financial Planning is a woman-owned financial planning firm. For their page, we wanted to ensure that it had a refined and established feel, while also being very easy to navigate.
We focused on organizing their services in a way that allows you to quickly find the exact service you are looking for, while also providing options to view more information about each one.
The ‘Read More’ section under each service makes the page more skimmable and less overwhelming, while also giving viewers the chance to see even more information about the service they are interested in.

Slade Copy House
Slade Copy House is a cheerful and vibrant copywriting agency that exudes personality. Their brand is anything but boring, so their service page had to be just as colorful and engaging.
When we created the design, we not only leaned into the different brand colors and added branded elements throughout, but we also wanted to create interactive moments throughout.
From a typewriter effect to pop-out sections and even video testimonials, every element we added was designed to bring that playful energy to every single canvas.
We also wanted to focus on making the site easy to navigate, as there are multiple services to choose from. We created a “jump to” section where people can be directed to the exact service they are looking for, and added contact buttons under each service to make reaching out quick and easy.

Amanda Barkley Design Company
Amanda Barkley is a florist who works on projects of all sizes to create vibrant and eye-catching floral arrangements. Her brand is very colorful and feels like a garden party you don’t want to miss.
So, when it came to her service page design, we wanted to create something that felt just as bright and vibrant, while also breaking down her services in a simple way. We used pops of color and larger text to break up her different services and make them easily skimmable.
To make everything as transparent as possible, her process is also broken down into simple steps, so there are no surprises about what comes next!

Methods by Katie Breard
Katie Breard is a personal trainer focused on fitness during perimenopause and menopause. Her brand is genuinely inspiring, leaning into feminine energy and embracing the understanding of one’s body.
With this, we aimed to create a layout that had an editorial feel, while also clearly highlighting what many other fitness programs overlook – the way your body changes over time and how that impacts every aspect of your life.
Because of this, we leaned into a very clean design, with specific pieces of text highlighted using different fonts and colors to really drive home the difference in her service and what people can expect from the process.

Wolfpack Consulting Co.
Wolfpack Consulting Co. is a short-term rental consulting firm that specializes in helping clients scale and grow their rental properties. Their brand has a modern and elevated feel that we brought to life on their sales page.
To keep their site sleek and less cluttered, we created a slider section for their services, allowing people to quickly choose between the three options without having to scroll through a ton of information.
We also clearly list out everything included in the packages, so people can see exactly what they are getting right off the bat. Plus, the FAQ section towards the end helps answer any of their questions, so they feel confident before they even hit the contact button.

Paulette Perhach
Paulette is a freelance writer and coach with a powerful and uplifting brand. She helps uplift other writers to create the life they want and chase their dreams of writing.
With a bold brand, we wanted to lean into using color and various text styling on her service page to not only highlight important parts, but also keep the page visually interesting.
She also has a few different services she offers, so in addition to breaking them up in three distinct blocks, we also added a quick links section right at the top of the page to allow people to quickly jump right to what they are looking for.

Glow Social
Glow Social is a social media software (SaaS) that helps business owners create a consistent social media presence with personalized ideas, suggestions, and a built-in scheduler. With the software being so seamless and easy to use, their brand needed to convey the same sense of ease.
As we built out their sales page, we wanted to lean into that friendly and supportive feel. We achieved this by creating sections that clearly break down who this is for, what you may be struggling with, and what exactly you can expect.
Glow Social helps you take the guesswork out of social media, and we made sure that their site takes the guesswork out of whether it is the right fit for your business!
