Client: Nurse Fern

Emma, founder and owner of Nurse Fern booked the complete brand and website design package. She wanted a bold, fun, and electric brand that grabbed the attention of nurses who were running on fumes. Then I built her custom website with a daily job board element. Below is just a peek at the project.

The Promise:

+Connect with nurses through success stories, your why, and by building awareness of other options for work.

+ Build trust within the nursing community by consistently providing qualified opportunities to break free from bedside.

+ Provide the tools and resources to help nurses attain remote positions.

Nurse Fern is one of the most vibrant brands in my portfolio, and since working together not only has she taken her business full-time, but she also went from 15,000 sessions monthly to 94,000 sessions monthly in traffic to her site. Additionally, she grew a community on her email list, going from 2000 to 42k and increased all of her social media followings, with the most Instagram going from 10,000 followers to 71.8k and TikTok going from 60k to 134.1k.

You’ll notice that her brand has a contagious energy. One that stops the scroll (literally), and get’s her people, nurses, taking action. It’s bright, but not loud. It’s vibrant and balanced, not overwhelming and chaotic- which is essential when building with bold colors and a strong stance (hello rebel with a cause).

AND- she and I recently re-designed her whole site while also scaling a job board. Why? Her brand is solid. In fact it’s built major equity, but she needed a data base for her job boards and an easier way to search for jobs that her previous blog post method. She also needed to share her categories and new membership. Want to see the evolution? Check it out below!
